Unintentional Injury Prevention


The East Shore District Health Department in conjunction with VNA community HealthCare offers its communities an Unintentional Injury Prevention program for older adults residing in East Haven, Branford, and North Branford.

The program consists of a Home Safety Assessment by a registered nurse using the adapted Home Safety Assessment Tool. Hazards are identified and corrections made The program offers support for the purchase of medical equipment/ assistive devices.
