Your Health

ESDHD has a public health nurse on staff to oversee health promotion and disease prevention programs and who can be of assistance to individuals and families with questions concerning their health. Health instruction, information, physician and/or social service referrals, as well as home visits are offered.

ESDHD takes responsibility for assessing the health of the community and ensuring that appropriate control measures are implemented to prevent disease occurrence and/or spread. The health department sponsors a variety of programs within the district to prevent communicable disease, promote wellness and provide health information.
