Purpose:
The East Shore District Health Department is committed to improving and maintaining the health and well being of the residents of its constituent towns by improving access to health care services.

Policy:
The Health Department refers district residents to selected medical practices or clinics for preventive medical measures not available at ESDHD.

Procedure: When it has been determined that either ESDHD or the primary physician cannot directly meet the needs of a resident, they can be referred to one of the above practices/clinics for the service requested. The above listed practices charge fees for their services and require an appointment. (List of available locations for Meningococcal vaccine updated each spring)
